This percentage is the part of your income tax that you, as an individual, can redirect free of charge to support one or more NGOs or religious institutions.

How can you redirect this amount?

Complete and sign Form 230 online through the redirectioneaza.ro platform by May 26, 2025. The form is automatically sent to us and we take care of submitting it to ANAF (the National Agency for Fiscal Administration).

Alternatively, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Print the Form 230 that we have edited with our organization’s information;
  2. Fill in and sign the form;
  3. Submit the form, by May 26, 2025, in one of the following ways:
    • by sending us a scanned copy;
    • online through the ANAF service “Virtual Private Space”;
    • *directly at the office of the fiscal authority where you are registered (check which office here);
    • *by post or courier, with confirmation of receipt to the ANAF office to which you belong.

*To submit the form in physical format you must fill in two copies. You will keep one copy and the other one will be the one you send to ANAF.

The Romanian tax code offers companies the possibility to redirect up to 20% of the company’s corporate income tax free of charge. You can choose to use this percentage of the money going to the state to sponsor one or more NGOs. In short, you can give one or more sponsorships up to 20% without taking any money out of your pocket (bank account). The remaining 80% goes to the State.

How can you redirect this amount?

  1. Calculate or estimate how much of your income/profit tax you want to redirect.
  2. Sign a sponsorship contract. We have prepared a template that already contains all our data to save you time. You can access it by clicking here. For questions and/or changes you can always contact us at contact@mentalhealthforromania.org. If you prefer to use your own contact, you can send it to the same e-mail address.
  3. Send us the signed and (optionally) stamped contract by e-mail.
  4. Transfer the amount to the account below before the last day of the current quarter.

    • IBAN RON: RO65RNCB0256169252540001
  5. Report your sponsorship to ANAF (the National Agency for Fiscal Administration). You must file Form 107 by May 31, 2025. This tax return is required for the sponsorship to be recognized as deductible.

If you haven’t filed Form 107 by the deadline (May 31, 2025) or have already redirected part of last year’s tax and are left with an unredirected amount, you can still use Form 177 until June 30, 2025, to ask ANAF to redirect up to 20% of the tax on your profits or income to our NGO, without you actually making the transfer. So, Declaration 177 allows the company to ask ANAF to redirect the amount of the sponsorship directly to an NGO, without making the direct transfer. No contract is needed, but Mental Health for Romania’s agreement is required – for this please contact us at contact@mentalhealthforromania.org with the subject “D177 Agreement ANAF”.

Support our projects “Let’s talk about mental health in schools!” and “Map of Romanian Mental Health Professionals” by creating a fundraiser on the Galantom platform!

You can create a fundraiser on your birthday (“Give your birthday”, similar to “birthday fundraisers” on Facebook), by running a marathon for our cause (“Sports Challenges”) or by organizing pro bono workshops/concerts/trainings. You can see a sample fundraiser here.

If you want to help us by starting a fundraiser, contact an admin on Galantom! We can help you with information and platform operation.
