This percentage is the part of your income tax that you, as an individual, can redirect free of charge to support one or more NGOs or religious institutions.
How can you redirect this portion of your tax?
Fill in and sign Form 230 online via the redirectioneaza.ro platform by May 25, 2026. The form is automatically sent to us, and we take care of submitting it to ANAF (Romania’s National Agency for Fiscal Administration).
Alternatively, you can follow the steps below:
- Print the Form 230 that we have pre-filled with our organisation’s information;
- Fill in and sign the form;
- Submit the form by May 25, 2026, using one of the following methods:
- by sending us a scanned copy;
- online via the ANAF “Private virtual space” service;
- *directly at your local ANAF office based on your domicile (check your local office here);
- *by post or courier, with delivery confirmation, to your local ANAF office.
*To submit the form in paper format you must fill in two copies. One copy will be kept by the tax authority, and the other will remain with you.
Under the Romanian Tax Code, companies can redirect up to 20% of their corporate income tax to support one or more NGOs, at no additional cost and with tax deductibility. In short, you can make one or more sponsorships within the 20% limit without taking any money out of your pocket (or rather, your company’s bank account). The remaining 80% of this tax will go to the Romanian state.
How can you redirect this portion of your tax?
- Calculate or estimate how much of your corporate income tax you want to redirect.
- Sign a sponsorship contract. We have prepared a template that already includes all our details to save you time. You can access it by clicking here. If you have any questions, would like to make changes, or would like to sign the contract, please email us at contact@mentalhealthforromania.org. If you prefer to use your own contract, you can send it to the same email address.
- Transfer the corresponding amount to the account below before the last day of the current quarter.

- Report your sponsorship to ANAF (Romania’s National Agency for Fiscal Administration). You must file Form 107 by June 25, 2026. This tax form is required for the sponsorship to be recognised as tax-deductible.
If you have already redirected part of last year’s tax and still have an amount left to redirect, you can file Form 177 by June 25, 2026, to ask ANAF to redirect up to 20% of your corporate income tax to our NGO, without having to make the transfer yourself. In other words, Form 177 allows your company to ask ANAF to transfer the sponsorship amount directly to an NGO on your behalf. No contract is required, but Mental Health for Romania’s consent is necessary. To obtain it, please email us at contact@mentalhealthforromania.org with the subject line “ANAF D177 Consent”.
