This week, we sent a letter of support for legislative proposal L478/2026, which would allow adolescents over the age of 16 to access psychological services without the consent of a legal guardian. In the letter, we highlighted the barriers that can hinder adolescents’ access to psychological help, based on our experience with mental health workshops in schools, a focus group with school counsellors, and specialist literature.
