Description

"At my core, I am a clinical psychologist. On this foundation, I have built, through continuing education courses and self-analysis, a body of knowledge composed of a variety of therapeutic approaches: cognitive-behavioural, transactional analysis, existential, and I am currently pursuing training in integrative trauma psychotherapy. In counselling sessions, my approach takes into account the needs of the individual. I firmly believe that a large part of the tools and resources already exist within the person, and my task is simply to help bring them to light. I believe that in therapy, people encounter themselves in their purest form, and I am happy to accompany them at their own pace on this journey."

I've been going to Ana for 6 months, after a break of almost 2 years before which I had been for about 6 months too. Ana is very open and always asks questions to make sure she has understood what I have said. She has a very good pacing style and doesn't insist where she doesn't feel it's necessary or where she doesn't think it's necessary at the moment. When I come up with a new situation that I haven't talked about before he always asks how he can help me. At the end of sessions he has a habit of leaving me a "food for thought" for next time. She takes notes and sometimes explains with diagrams or drawings to make herself better understood. At times she pauses to make sure I understand what she means and always makes sure that we both understand each other. The location is central and very accessible and the atmosphere in the office is very cozy. She always serves me water and tea. I had and have a good experience with Ana.
