Corporate
mental health workshops
An individual spends, on average, approximately 90,000 hours of their life at work. Job satisfaction is associated with greater overall wellbeing, while low professional satisfaction is closely associated with burnout, depression and anxiety. [1,2]
At an organisational level, these mental health problems can have significant consequences, manifested through reduced productivity, increased absenteeism, high staff turnover, and increased economic costs. [3,4,5] According to the WHO, the costs associated with mental health disorders amount to USD 1,000 billion annually. [6]
Workplace mental health is, therefore, not just a matter of individual wellbeing, but also one relevant to the functioning of organisations. Wellbeing programmes are one of the solutions adopted by organisations: 92% of HR leaders in Romania believe that they improve productivity and contribute to supporting the performance of top employees. [7]
Our series of mental health workshops aims to provide employees with practical tools to protect and improve their wellbeing, while also contributing to a healthier organisational culture, where mental health can be discussed openly. Participants will leave with
- practical strategies for stress management and developing healthy habits, from sleep and nutrition to relaxation techniques and work-life balance;
- the ability to recognise the signs of the most common mental health difficulties, such as burnout, anxiety, and depression;
- resources and information about existing specialised help options;
- tools to be able to provide appropriate support to colleagues and those close to them.
