May 25, 2026<\/strong>. One copy will be kept by the tax authority, and the other will remain with you.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-4d05d5b3 alignwide gb-tabs__item\" id=\"gb-tab-item-4d05d5b3\">\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the Romanian Tax Code, companies can redirect up to 20% of their corporate income tax to support one or more NGOs, at no additional cost and with tax deductibility. In short, you can make one or more sponsorships within the 20% limit without taking any money out of your pocket (or rather, your company\u2019s bank account).   The remaining 80% of this tax will go to the Romanian state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-accent-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How can you redirect this portion of your tax?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list ticss-59f4aaf3\">\n<li>Calculate or estimate how much of your corporate income tax you want to redirect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sign a sponsorship contract. We have prepared a template that already includes all our details to save you time. You can access it by <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1SvdDuE_hmnY3aPOhVFv45LD4pPPrhLvf\/edit?rtpof=true&amp;sd=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">clicking here<\/a>. You must file <a href=\"https:\/\/static.anaf.ro\/static\/10\/Anaf\/Declaratii_R\/107.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Form 107<\/strong><\/a> by <strong>June 25, 2026<\/strong>. <em>This tax form is required for the sponsorship to be recognised as tax-deductible. <\/em>  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have already redirected part of last year\u2019s tax and still have an amount left to redirect, you can file <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/static.anaf.ro\/static\/10\/Anaf\/Declaratii_R\/177.html\">Form 177<\/a><\/strong> by <strong>June 25, 2026<\/strong>, to ask ANAF to redirect up to 20% of your corporate income tax to our NGO, without having to make the transfer yourself. In other words, Form 177 <strong>allows your company to ask ANAF to transfer the sponsorship amount directly to an NGO on your behalf<\/strong>. No contract is required, but Mental Health for Romania\u2019s consent is necessary.
