{"id":9025,"date":"2024-01-05T22:02:55","date_gmt":"2024-01-05T20:02:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mentalhealthforromania.org\/noutate\/the-achievements-of-mental-health-for-romania-in-2023\/"},"modified":"2024-03-29T02:17:28","modified_gmt":"2024-03-29T00:17:28","slug":"the-achievements-of-mental-health-for-romania-in-2023","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/mentalhealthforromania.org\/en\/news\/the-achievements-of-mental-health-for-romania-in-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"The achievements of Mental Health for Romania in 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This year was one in which we grew and explored the possibilities through which we can have the greatest impact in the community, mainly how we can help educate and raise awareness among young people in Romania about mental health. <\/p>\n\n<p>Our team has grown, currently counting 40 active and passionate volunteers. \u00cen total, in 2023, <strong>over 500 middle and high school students<\/strong> from Dolj, Arad, Bucure\u0219ti, Ia\u0219i and a few other counties participated in our mental health workshops. We benefited from the attention of engaged students and the support of generous teachers. Approximately <strong>97% <\/strong>of the students found the workshop useful, interesting, and well presented.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mentalhealthforromania.org\/en\/service\/map-of-professionals\/\"><strong>The MHR Map of Professionals<\/strong><\/a>, where mental health psychologists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists in the country sign up to be easily connected with those seeking help, has reached over 200 professionals. We are extimating that aprox. <strong>300 people<\/strong> used mental health services through the Map, over 90% of them benefiting from partial or full discounts.<\/p>\n\n<p>In 2023 we also relaunched another MHR project, <strong>our podcast<\/strong>, where we talk about various mental health related topics. We want to thank our over 2.100 de ascult\u0103tori, who tuned in for the 6 episodes released this year. You can follow us on <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/show\/4wZEEnHuRzSJ8Kx6f5rOQP\">Spotify<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.google.com\/feed\/aHR0cHM6Ly9hbmNob3IuZm0vcy8yNDA4MjJlOC9wb2RjYXN0L3Jzcw\">Google Podcasts<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@mentalhealthforromania\">YouTube<\/a>. Psss! A big announcement is coming at the beginning of 2024, but you are finding out about it now! We are very close to launching <strong>the online gallery<\/strong> including all the winning submissions from the past 3 editions of our art contest.
